Meridian has been delighted to have Dan Garlick – Director for Motorsport at Goodwood join us on secondment for the last four weeks.

Dan joined Goodwood in 2012 following a career in the RAF as a fast jet pilot. His key focus is providing the strategic direction to enable the sustainable growth of Goodwood’s motorsport events and membership.

With responsibility for the operational delivery and commercial success of Goodwood events, Dan joined Meridian to further develop his understanding of corporate finance in order to apply this knowledge upon his return to Goodwood.

During his secondment, Dan has met with various professionals from banks, financial institutions, clients, and private equity firms. He has been a welcomed asset to the team’s skill sets throughout his time here.

Speaking of the last four weeks, Dan comments, “Meridian are absolutely passionate about really understanding their clients’ requirements and taking the time to ensure they exceed their expectations.  The similarity with Goodwood, whilst operating in totally different business areas, is very apparent. I’m extremely grateful to the Meridian team and the customers and contacts I’ve met in what has been a very interesting and informative month’.
